What Motivates People to Watch UFO's?

Many people contend that UFO watching has triggered the onset of UFO reports since 1947, where the contemporary age of ufology started with the Kennedy Arnold sighting. However, history can prove that UFO watching could have started back in the prehistoric period, where graphical images of unidentified flying objects had been recorded through various paintings, drawings, figures, and legends.

From that time on, many people have been constantly engaging in numerous UFO watching activities, hoping that they will catch a glimpse of apparitions and report them as clear, physical evidence of UFO reality.

UFO watching has been employed by many people who seek to find the truth about the suppositions of UFOs and the so-called evidence that will prove their actuality.

Nevertheless, experts on UFO watching contend that this type of activity isn't a simple task. It takes a lot of tolerance, persistence, patience, and rational consideration in order to succeed in UFO watching.

The only problem is that people, who don't believe in UFOs, assert that UFO watchers are considered as deceptive and are always tying to find some means of coming up with hoaxes?either for personal gain or for psychological purposes.

All the same, many people are still UFO watching, eager to clearly understand the phenomenon brought about by strange sightings in the sky or the unexplainable conglomeration of innumerable lights and objects presented in extraordinary conditions.

Today, many places are already being considered as hot spots for UFO watching. Most of these places don't stimulate much excitement before, but after several occurrences that have been reported, people, mostly the younger ones, will instantly tour the area, complete with innovative devices, and will try to capture everything about UFO apparitions.

With all these things, the question now relies on whether the results of UFO watching activities are valid or not. As much as scientists can clearly affirm or negate the validity of such occurrences, you simply can't ascertain that the information gathered by UFO watchers is for real.

Given all these things, if UFOs don't really exist and the many stories that originated from UFO watching were mostly considered as deliberate hoaxes or results of explainable man-made phenomena, why is it that people are still motivated to perform UFO watching? What motivates them?

Clear answers are yet to be discovered, but one thing is for sure: there are many things in this world that man can't find scientific answers to support such occurrences.
