How are UFOs Categorized?

Sightings and encounters are documented by the U.S. Air Force to make a credible preponderance in categorizing sightings according to the formats and patterns that they were seen. Many scientists point out that most of the sightings are predominantly unreliable and unbelievable from witnesses and claimers?accounts.

Researchers have recommended that their observations and studies should be classified in accordance to the experiences of the people who claimed that they have witnessed aliens. They also based their documentations on the reported and recorded testimonies of the eyewitnesses.

There are also documented sightings with the same crafts that have rapidly evolving luminous lights and have the ability to change directions in an instant. They also feature a triangular shaped craft that emits a triangular light pattern. Some also have sightings of a Cigar-shaped spacecraft that have luminous windows. Some speculate that the windows are meteor fireballs or laser-like beams that shield the whole craft.

To be more specific in categorizing the description of phenomenon, Dr. Allen Hynek introduced the Hynek system of classifying the sightings. He grouped them into six different categories. It helps researchers to distinguish a particular sighting on the ground with a cutoff point of 500 feet to the proximity and arbitrary of the encounter. It then falls to a subcategory based on the sighting condition and to the special experiences that may have occurred such as abduction and sexual abuse.

The subcategories, which are used in describing sightings on distant grounds, include crafts with nocturnal lights and unexplainable lights seen in the night sky. The crafts are described like disks seen in daylight. You may also see them with radars and satellite-like antenneas. These crafts are often seen by the naked eye and can be detected on military radars.

These distant descriptions are essential as documented evidences especially for radar cases, which are considered high quality corroboration of proofs. Moreover, close encounter categorization to sightings are also considered to be strong evidence. The descriptions include figurative physical evidence and objects that are viewed up close.

Descriptions in close encounters include seeing unrecognizable objects at close distances without physical contact with the surroundings. There are also cases that create physical encounters and causes electromagnetic disturbances on the environment. Aliens and unknown life forms seen by the naked eye are also categorized as close encounters.

The categories help researchers and scientists make the study of UFOs easier. It allows them to make comparisons about reports of sightings by many people around the world. Categorizing the UFOs make the whole unite in its quest for finding answers about the mysteries of UFOs.
